Birds of prey are a popular subject for logo design as birds such as Hawks symbolise protection and courage, whilst Eagles are symbolic of freedom.

Octopuses are not a particularly common theme seen in logo design, however, perhaps they should be as they are great fun to work with as subject matter.

There is a lot of creativity that can be drawn upon using those eight tentacles and interesting body shape, and the way that they move through the water is quite majestic.
