Brand Logo Design Project
Hey, my name is Martin Williams, creator of this brand logo design project. I am a veteran logo designer with over 25 years professional experience. Below you will find an example of my work, more can be found in my portfolios, thank you.
The Challenge:
When Fury Cry contacted me to create a logo for their brand I knew that this was going to be a tough project. Initially the client had no idea what they wanted for their logo, which is fine as that is what I am here for!
However, usually there is something to spark an initial direction, this client was very open (which is great creatively) all they really knew was what feeling/emotion they wanted to portray and they knew what the brand name was going to be, but that was pretty much it.
My Thoughts:
What ensued was a LOT of discussion, conceptualisation and back and forth. It took a few months to get to the final solution shown here.
We went through many ideas, sketches and themes before we arrived at the combination of a Spartan helmet combined with an abstract “F” shape which forms the basis for this motif.
What I really like about this concept is the combination of curves and sharp lines, it has quite an aggressive vibe to it which embodies the brand name.
