When the founders of Fury Cry approached me, they didn’t have a specific vision—they had a feeling. Their brand needed to be aggressive and sharp.
The challenge was to take this raw feeling and forge it into a concrete, powerful visual identity—the cornerstone of any successful streetwear brand.
The Design Rationale Behind This Streetwear Logo
A Symbol for an Edgy Clothing Brand
With an open brief, the key was to find a symbol that could instantly communicate the ‘Fury Cry’ ethos. I knew we needed something that represented strength and a controlled, aggressive spirit. Drawing on my experience, I identified the perfect concept for this edgy logo design: the Spartan helmet.
Fusing Symbolism with Brand Identity
My vision was to integrate the brand’s initial, ‘F’, into the form of the helmet itself, creating a sharp, forward-moving aesthetic that embodied the brand’s energy. This energy is a core component of the brand, reflecting the defiant, independent spirit that has always been at the heart of streetwear culture.
The concept was strong from the outset, and after the initial design was presented, the project moved through the revision stage efficiently, concluding in around three weeks.
The Outcome: An Edgy, Versatile Streetwear Logo
The final design is a perfect fusion of form and feeling. It’s an abstract ‘F’, a Spartan helmet, and an embodiment of the Fury Cry name—all in one clean, powerful mark. This apparel logo is instantly recognisable and gives the brand a unique, ownable asset.
